We are undergoing an exciting phase in the business and have gained some new and vibrant faces to maintain the levels of creativity within the salon. They have joined us because they are excited by the Ragamuffins ethos and will all be trained to the same exacting high standards by Nikki.
The Team
Nikki Farrant – Creative Director

Nikki started her career in hairdressing in 1984 at the age of 16. She followed in the hairdressing footsteps of her mother and it was the only career that she ever considered. She is a passionate and talented hairdresser who is, not only creative and artistic, but also caring and believes fervently in working with her clients to satisfy their needs.

She has used Organic Colour Systems since the brand was first launched and Ragamuffins became their first Global Concept Salon. For nine years Nikki held the ambassadorial role of International Creative Director whilst being instrumental in training Organic Colour Systems salons all over the world.

Bek Vowden – Salon Director

Bek has been with Ragamuffins since 1997 and has received extensive training on all the products over the years. She has been individually trained by Nikki and is her trusted right hand. After completing twenty years’ service she became a shareholder and director of Ragamuffins Hair Limited.

Emma Youngs – Top Stylist

Emma has over twenty years’ experience in hairdressing and covers all aspects. All her hairdressing has been carried out in the Exeter area and she is looking forward to showing off her many skills. She has a loyal client base and we can ensure them that they will have a warm Ragamuffins welcome whenever they come to our salon.

Steph Johnson – Stylist

Steph joined Ragamuffins in 2013 and has recently qualified. She is very much a peoples’ person and has quickly endeared herself to everyone visiting the salon.

Chloe Martin – Apprentice Stylist

Chloe, like Nikki, is following in her Mum’s footsteps by achieving her dream in becoming a hairdresser. She is our youngest member of staff and we know that she will be a significant member of the team.
